The Multicomp Pro MCNDI-08S is an 8-way low-profile DIP switch designed for reliable circuit configuration in compact electronic assemblies. It features a slide actuator for easy setting and a through-hole mounting style for secure PCB integration. Its single-pole, single-throw (SPST) contact configuration provides straightforward on/off control for each of its eight circuits.
Constructed with high-quality materials, this switch boasts gold-plated-over-nickel contacts and gold terminals, ensuring excellent conductivity and superior solderability. The black high-temperature base and cover enhance durability in demanding operating environments. A key design feature is the splay terminals, which allow for automatic insertion by IC insertion machines, streamlining the manufacturing process.

The switch incorporates double contacts for high operational reliability. Its construction utilises insert moulding of terminals and ultrasonic welding, which significantly improves flux proofness and enables thorough flux washing, thanks to the top tape sealing.
