The Multicomp Pro Automotive PCB Relay is a compact microminiature general-purpose relay designed for reliable performance in demanding automotive applications. Featuring an SPDT contact configuration, this through-hole relay is engineered to handle substantial electrical loads, offering a maximum continuous current of 35A for 10 minutes and 25A for 1 minute. It also boasts a maximum inrush current of 90A, making it highly capable of managing sudden power surges safely.
Built with silver alloy contacts, the relay ensures excellent conductivity and a maximum contact resistance of 100mohm at 6VDC/1A. The coil operates at a nominal voltage of 24VDC, with an operate voltage of 14.4VDC and a release voltage of 2.4VDC. It features a coil power of 0.64W and a coil resistance of 900 ohm ±10%. The relay delivers fast and efficient switching, with a maximum operate and release time of 10ms.
Designed for long-lasting durability, it offers a mechanical life of 10,000,000 operations and operates reliably within a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. Its compact dimensions of 15.5mm x 12.2mm x 13.9mm make it ideal for space-constrained printed circuit board installations, whilst the PC pin terminals ensure secure and straightforward through-hole mounting.
