The Multicomp Pro IP65 ABS Enclosure is a multipurpose enclosure featuring a robust dark grey ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) body. Designed to meet IP65 of IEC 529 and NEMA 4 specifications, it provides excellent protection against dust and water ingress, making it suitable for demanding environments.
This enclosure incorporates a tongue and groove sealing system complete with a neoprene gasket to ensure a reliable seal. The wall mounting holes and lid fixing screws are positioned outside the sealing area, preventing the ingress of moisture and dust. The lid is secured using M4 stainless steel (non-magnetic) screws that fasten into threaded brass inserts for a secure and durable closure.
Versatile Internal Mounting
The internal base features bosses that allow for the horizontal fixing of PCBs or the connection of terminals into threaded brass inserts. Additionally, internal guide slots are provided for mounting PCB assemblies vertically, offering great flexibility for your electronic projects. The ABS material can be easily drilled or punched to accommodate cable entries and connectors.
