The Multicomp Pro MCNDI-02S is a single-pole single-throw (SPST) 2-way low profile DIP switch designed for machine insertion. Featuring a slide actuator and raised profile, this unsealed through-hole switch provides precise and reliable switching for compact circuit boards.
Engineered for high reliability, the switch incorporates double contacts with gold plating over nickel. The gold-plated splay terminals are specifically designed to allow automatic insertion by IC insertion machines, streamlining the assembly process. Additionally, the gold terminal plating ensures excellent soldering results for secure and consistent connections.
Built to withstand demanding manufacturing environments, the switch features a black high-temperature base and cover. Insert moulding of the terminals and ultrasonic welding significantly improve flux proofness, while top tape sealing enables whole-board flux washing without compromising the switch internals.
With a pitch of 2.54mm, an insulation resistance of 100MΩ at 500V, and a dielectric strength of 500VAC for one minute, this component is designed for robust electrical performance. It supports a maximum contact voltage of 24V DC and a maximum contact current of 25mA DC, making it perfectly suited for industrial automation and networking applications.
