The Multicomp Pro MCEMR-03-T is a highly reliable, end-stackable SMD DIP slide switch designed for precision control in compact electronic assemblies. Featuring a recessed actuator, this 3-way switch offers enhanced protection against accidental actuation, making it suitable for densely packed circuit boards. Its construction utilises a robust black high-temperature thermoplastic nylon base and cover, both UL94V-0 rated for flame retardancy, paired with a durable white high-temperature thermoplastic LCP actuator.

Engineered for longevity, the switch boasts a mechanical and electrical life of 2,000 cycles, with a maximum operating force of 1000gf. The contacts are gold-plated copper alloy, and the terminals are gold-plated brass, ensuring excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance for stable performance over time. A top tape seal provides an additional layer of protection against dust and contaminants during the soldering process.

Technical Performance

With a switching capacity of 25mA at 24VDC in an SPST configuration, this switch is ideal for low-power signal routing. It maintains a minimum contact resistance of 100mohm and a maximum insulation resistance of 100Mohm, both tested at 500VDC, guaranteeing reliable electrical isolation and signal integrity. The operating temperature range spans from -20°C to +85°C, allowing for consistent functionality in varied industrial environments.
