The Multicomp Pro Thermal Switch is a versatile and reliable thermostat switch featuring a thermo-bimetallic snap-disc with a fixed switching temperature as its switching element. In the event of an external temperature input, the double contact system of the switch opens or closes the circuit of the application. Heat transfer is efficiently performed from all sides onto the housing of the switch by means of convection or direct heat conduction.
This switch is universally applicable through its robust design, wide performance range, and diverse executions, serving as a protective switch, sensor, or controller. Applications specifically in the area of temperature sensors with low voltage and signal currents require gold-plated contacts, which this switch accommodates with its special low voltage execution. The switch is non-sensitive to current and features normally closed contact operation.
