The Multicomp Pro Thermal Switch is a normally closed (NC) thermostat switch designed for reliable temperature monitoring and protection. Featuring a thermo-bimetallic snap-disc as its switching element, it offers a fixed switching temperature of 80°C with a standard tolerance of ±5°K. Upon reaching the designated temperature, its double contact system opens or closes the circuit of the connected application, ensuring precise control and safety.

Heat transfer to the switch occurs through convection or direct heat conduction from all sides onto its housing, allowing for versatile and effective integration into various systems. This design, combined with its wide performance range and diverse executions, makes it suitable for roles as a protective switch, sensor, or controller.
