Key Functionality
When the active-low parallel load (active-low PL) input is held LOW, data from the eight parallel inputs is asynchronously loaded into the register. When active-low PL is HIGH, data enters serially via the DS input. Data shifting occurs on the low-to-high transitions of the clock pulse (CP) input, provided the clock enable (active-low CE) is LOW. A HIGH on active-low CE disables the clock input, allowing for precise control of the shifting operation.
