This IC is designed to store data at the nD input on the low-to-high clock transition, provided that set-up and hold time requirements are met.
A Schmitt-trigger action on the clock input ensures high tolerance to slower clock rise and fall times, enhancing reliability in various operating conditions. The device includes clamp diodes, allowing the use of current limiting resistors to interface inputs to voltages above VCC, offering design flexibility.
