ONSEMI surface mount Schottky rectifier, 40V, 5A, DO-214AB (SMC). AEC-Q101 qualified for low voltage, high frequency rectification.
The ONSEMI Schottky Rectifier is a high-performance surface mount power diode that employs the Schottky Barrier principle with a large area metal-to-silicon design. Featuring state-of-the-art geometry, it boasts an epitaxial construction with oxide passivation and metal overlay contact, ensuring reliable and efficient operation.
Housed in an epoxy moulded case with a UL94V-0 flame rating, this rectifier offers excellent durability. All external surfaces are corrosion-resistant, and the terminal leads feature a readily solderable finish. A practical notch on the plastic body clearly indicates the cathode lead polarity for straightforward installation.
Measuring 43 mm in height, 33 mm in width, and 15 mm in depth, with a weight of just 0.355 grams, this component is ideally suited for low voltage, high frequency rectification, as well as serving as a free wheeling and polarity protection diode in surface mount applications where compact size and weight are critical to the system.
Key Specifications
