It comprises an infrared light-emitting diode (LED) and an NPN silicon phototransistor, providing reliable signal isolation. This component is tested to ensure a minimum current transfer ratio (CTR) of 20%, and all electrical parameters are 100% tested for consistent performance.
With a maximum forward current of 50mA, a reverse voltage of 6V, and a total power dissipation of 200mW, this optocoupler is suitable for a wide range of applications. It provides an isolation voltage of 5.3kV and a collector-emitter voltage (V(br)ceo) of 35V, making it ideal for signal transmission between systems of different potentials and impedances.
