The PIMORI OnOff SHIM Board provides a simple and elegant solution for adding a proper power switch to your Raspberry Pi. By connecting a power supply to the SHIM's micro-USB port, you can power, boot, and safely shut down your Pi with a single button press, eliminating the need to physically connect and disconnect the power cable.
This compact and slim-profile board is designed for unobtrusive mounting, soldering directly onto the GPIO pins of your Raspberry Pi. Its low-profile design means it can be used in conjunction with other HATs and pHATs, making it an ideal addition to any Pi project where a neat and controlled power solution is required.
Key features include a red status LED for visual power indication and breakout pins that allow you to connect an external momentary button for custom installation.
