Installation is straightforward—simply attach an M-key NVMe SSD drive, enable support in the config.txt file, and you are ready to go. The base supports a wide range of drive sizes, specifically from 2230 to 2280, offering excellent flexibility for your storage needs.
Designed for a compact and discreet setup, the NVMe Base mounts neatly underneath the Raspberry Pi 5. It comes complete with rubber feet to provide stable support and includes all the necessary components and standoffs for secure mounting of both the base and the SSD.
This extension board adheres to the new Raspberry Pi PIP design guidelines, ensuring long-term operating system support and reliable performance. Please be aware that the use of WD Green, Blue, Red, and Black SSDs is not currently recommended due to known issues with the SanDisk controller and firmware. The Raspberry Pi is shown for illustration purposes only and is not included.
