Supplied in a convenient 8-metre length within a box, this tubing shrinks to half its original diameter when heated, providing a secure, durable, and waterproof seal that protects against abrasion, corrosion, and environmental damage.
With a reliable 2:1 shrink ratio, the tubing shrinks uniformly to fit tightly around connections and terminations. It activates at a low temperature range of 70°C to 110°C, making it easy to apply using a standard heat gun or other controlled heat source without damaging sensitive components. Once applied, it forms a permanent, strain-relieving sleeve that is resistant to moisture, chemicals, and UV exposure.
