The Proto-Advantage DR127D254P20F is a precision-engineered vertical header adapter designed to provide a reliable interface between a 20-pin female header and a standard DIP-20 footprint. This pre-assembled adaptor features a robust construction, making it an essential component for prototyping, testing, and converting circuit designs.

At the core of the adaptor is a high-quality FR-4 PCB, rated UL94V-0 for flame retardancy. The board measures 17.78mm x 25.4mm x 1.6mm (700mils x 1000mils x 62.5mils), offering a compact yet durable foundation. On the top side, a gold-plated dual-row surface mount vertical female header is installed, ensuring excellent conductivity and reliable mating with corresponding male connectors.

The bottom side is equipped with two gold-plated single-row surface mount vertical male headers, which interface with the target DIP socket. The DIP connection points utilise wire wrap pins with a 0.64mm square profile, providing a secure and stable connection for through-hole mounting or wire wrapping applications.
