Reed Proximity Switch 3mm Sensing

The Reed Proximity Switch is a threaded, magnetically actuated sensor designed for precise position and limit sensing. Based on a reliable reed switch mechanism and paired with a suggested PRM magnet, it delivers dependable contact switching within a defined range. Its compact and robust construction makes it suitable for integration into a wide array of automated and security systems where non-contact detection is required.

Featuring a normally open (NO) contact form, the switch is rated for a maximum switching voltage of 400V AC and a maximum switching current of 0.5A, with a resistive switching capacity of 10W/VA. It offers a consistent and repeatable minimum switching distance of 3mm from the actuating magnet, ensuring accurate detection. The low maximum contact resistance of 150mΩ guarantees efficient electrical performance and minimal signal loss.

For easy installation and connection, the sensor is supplied with 2x round PVC-insulated blue cables (0.22mm² cross-section). Its threaded body allows for straightforward mounting in panels or machinery.
