The system is built around a central, waterproof receiver (IP68-rated) housed in a rugged enclosure. The matching handheld transmitter is splashproof (IP54-rated), providing durability for everyday use. Communication is via secure 433MHz FM technology, offering a robust wireless link with an operational range of up to 100 metres in open spaces.
A key feature is the incredibly flexible 'easy-learn' programming. Each of the system's relays can be assigned to any button on any QUANTA transmitter. This allows for custom control schemes, and additional transmitters can be added to the network at any time without needing to open the receiver box, simplifying system expansion. The output can be configured as either momentary (press to activate) or latching (press on, press off) to suit the connected device.
The single changeover relay contact is rated for substantial loads, handling up to 5A at 230V AC, making it capable of directly controlling motors, lights, or solenoid locks up to 1000W.
