The RoboHAT2 Lite Robot Controller for Raspberry Pi is a new and improved, fully-featured controller board designed specifically for a wide range of Raspberry Pi robotics projects. This compact board serves as the central brain for your robot, providing seamless integration and power management.
The board is engineered for efficiency and reliability, featuring a 5V switching regulator that safely powers both the robot and the connected Raspberry Pi from standard 7V to 10V battery packs. It boasts a high-efficiency dual H-Bridge driver capable of independently controlling two DC motors, with the option for separate motor power up to 11V and 1A per channel for enhanced performance.
For sensor and actuator integration, the RoboHAT2 Lite offers six 5V level-shifted GPIO inputs and four 5V level-shifted GPIO outputs, each with convenient 3-pin GVS connectors. Dedicated connectivity is also provided, including a 4-pin header for HC-SR04/HC-SR04P ultrasonic distance sensors and an I2C breakout connector for expanding functionality. A clear LED status indicator shows the 5V power connection.
Compatible with all 40-pin GPIO Raspberry Pi models, the controller is supplied fully assembled and requires no soldering, making it perfect for beginners and advanced makers alike.
