Roughneck Plugging Chisel 32mm x 254mm, 16mm Shank
Roughneck drop-forged plugging chisel (32x254mm) for removing mortar & bricks. 16mm shank, powder-coated for durability.
The Roughneck Plugging Chisel is an essential tool for any serious masonry or bricklaying project. Crafted from drop-forged, heat-treated steel, this chisel is built to deliver exceptional strength and withstand the rigours of heavy-duty use, ensuring it remains a reliable part of your toolkit for years to come. Its durable construction is enhanced by a protective powder-coated finish and polished tips, offering superior corrosion resistance and helping the tool maintain its performance in various working conditions.
Specifically designed for precision demolition work, this chisel is perfect for the controlled removal of mortar from between bricks. Whether you are preparing a wall for re-pointing by neatly raking out old mortar joints or need to carefully extract a single brick without damaging its neighbours, this tool provides the accuracy and power required. The 16mm shank ensures a secure fit in a standard hammer drill or demolition hammer, allowing for efficient, vibration-dampened power transmission directly to the cutting edge.
With dimensions of 32mm by 254mm (1¼ by 10 inches), it offers an optimal balance between a robust cutting width for fast mortar removal and a manageable length for controlled application. The combination of forged steel, heat treatment, and anti-corrosion protection makes this Roughneck chisel a standout choice for both professional tradespeople and dedicated DIY enthusiasts tackling renovation, repair, or construction tasks.
