The SB COMPONENTS PiRelay8 is a versatile relay extension board designed to effectively control up to eight appliances from a single Raspberry Pi. It is equipped with eight relays featuring photo-coupling isolation to ensure safe and reliable operation during use.
This expansion board supports loads of up to 7A/250V AC and 10A/30V DC, making it suitable for a variety of electrical projects. It utilises an EL357NC optocoupler to provide secure photo-coupling isolation. Operating with a 3.3V trigger voltage, the board includes a relay control pins selection jumper for flexible configuration.
Designed with user convenience in mind, the PiRelay8 provides ample space to add an optional 4.3-inch display for monitoring and control purposes. It can be powered via a 5V/2A USB connection or through the terminal block, and features an onboard power LED indicator for easy status checks.
The board is fully compatible with Raspberry Pi 2, 3, 4, and Zero models, and benefits from readily available development resources and Python examples to help streamline your projects. With board dimensions of 267.8 x 72 mm, it integrates seamlessly into your setup.
