The SPARKFUN TPA2005D1 Mono Audio Amplifier Breakout Board is a compact and efficient solution for boosting audio in your DIY electronics projects. Based on the Texas Instruments TPA2005D1 audio amplifier, this breakout board delivers 1.4W of power to an 8-ohm speaker, ensuring clear and loud sound output.
Featuring Class D operation, the amplifier provides high efficiency, making it ideal for battery-powered applications. The board operates on a 2.5V to 5.5V power supply and includes fully differential audio inputs that can be ground-referenced for versatile connectivity. A shutdown input is also provided to conserve power when the amplifier is not in use.
For customization, the board offers PTH pads for adjusting gain resistors and includes a solder jumper and header for connecting an external volume control potentiometer (not included). This breakout board is perfect for prototyping, educational projects, or integrating into small audio devices.
