StarTech 24-inch 16:10 Widescreen Monitor Privacy Filter

The StarTech 24-inch 16:10 Widescreen Monitor Privacy Filter is a reversible blackout filter that restricts the viewing angle to 60° for confidential on-screen work. Designed for a 24-inch desktop monitor, it helps keep sensitive data private from anyone outside the narrow field of view.

Overview

Anyone viewing the screen from outside the 60° field of view (±30° from centre) sees only a darkened, unreadable display. The filter suits environments where on-screen information must remain confidential, including offices, banks, and public-facing workstations. Its reversible design offers a matt side and a gloss side for different viewing needs.

Key Features

• Reversible design with a matt side that reduces glare from overhead lighting and a gloss side that provides enhanced clarity
• Blue light filtering technology intended to help reduce digital eye strain during prolonged computer use
• Non-permanent adhesive strips for fast mounting and easy removal, leaving no residue on the monitor
• Crafted from durable plastic and designed to fit a 24-inch 16:10 widescreen display

Installation and Use

Installation is straightforward, and the included adhesive strips allow the filter to be removed when required. This makes the filter well suited to hot-desking environments and shared computers.
