Startech Dual mSATA to SATA Adaptor for 2.5in Drive Bay

Upgrade your system's performance with the Startech 25SAT22MSAT Dual mSATA to SATA Adaptor. This innovative solution allows you to install two mSATA SSDs into a single, standard 2.5-inch SATA hard drive bay, creating a high-speed RAID array to eliminate data bottlenecks and vastly accelerate file transfers.

Harness the full potential of SATA 6 Gb/s controllers, achieving transfer speeds of up to 6 Gb/s. This not only boosts overall system responsiveness but can also reduce power consumption compared to traditional platter-based hard drives, offering both performance and efficiency gains.

Key Features & Flexibility

The adaptor supports multiple configurations to suit your needs. For maximum speed, utilise RAID 0 (striping). For data redundancy and security, opt for RAID 1 (mirroring) or RAID BIG. It also supports non-RAID JBOD (Just a Bunch of Drives) operation when connected to a port-multiplying SATA controller, allowing both drives to be used independently.

Designed for reliability, the open-frame construction promotes excellent heat dissipation, helping to maintain optimal SSD performance and longevity. It is completely operating system independent, requiring no additional software or drivers for setup—simply install your mSATA drives and configure your RAID settings in the system BIOS.
