St MicroElectronics LIS3DHTR 3-Axis MEMS Digital Accelerometer LGA-16

The St MicroElectronics LIS3DHTR is a 3-axis MEMS digital accelerometer with dynamically selectable full scale of ±2g, ±4g, ±8g and ±16g, housed in an LGA-16 package.

The LIS3DHTR belongs to the nano family of MEMS digital output motion sensors. It provides a digital I2C/SPI serial interface and sensing along the X, Y and Z axes, delivering 16-bit data output for motion tracking.

Overview

The device supports ultra-low-power operating modes for power saving, along with embedded functions including a self-test capability that allows the sensor's functioning to be verified within the final application. Two independent programmable interrupt generators can be triggered by inertial wake-up or free-fall events, as well as by the physical position of the device. The thresholds and timing of these interrupt generators can be programmed by the end user on the fly.
