The STMicroelectronics LE33CD-TR is a low drop-out voltage regulator with an inhibit function, providing a fixed 3.3V output. It is designed for low-noise, low-power applications and is especially suitable for battery-powered systems due to its low quiescent current.
This device is pin-to-pin compatible with the L78L series. In the 8-pin SOIC package, it features a shutdown logic control (pin 5, TTL compatible), allowing parts of a board to be placed in standby when used as a local regulator, reducing overall power consumption. In the 3-terminal TO-92 configuration, the device is always in the on-state.
