STMICROELECTRONICS M48Z02-150PC1 SRAM 16Kbit, DIP24. Non-volatile, 10-year data retention, parallel interface. Ideal for communications.
The STMICROELECTRONICS M48Z02-150PC1 is a 16Kbit Non-volatile Static RAM, pin and function compatible with the DS1220. This integrated circuit combines ultralow power SRAM with a power-fail control circuit, ensuring reliable data retention. The built-in button cell provides sufficient capacity to maintain data for at least 10 years in the absence of power, over the commercial operating temperature range.
This non-volatile SRAM is pin and function equivalent to any JEDEC standard 2K x 8 SRAM and easily fits into many ROM, EPROM and EEPROM sockets, offering the non-volatility of PROMs without special write timing requirements or limitations on the number of write cycles. It supports unlimited write cycles, and the READ cycle time equals the WRITE cycle time.
