STMicroelectronics 40V 3A Schottky Rectifier in DO-201AD package. Ideal for switch mode power supplies, DC-DC converters & polarity protection.
The STMicroelectronics Schottky Rectifier from the 1N582X series is an axial leaded, single low drop power Schottky rectifier housed in a DO-201AD package. Designed for high efficiency, this diode features very small conduction losses, negligible switching losses, and extremely fast switching speeds. These characteristics make it highly suitable for demanding electronic applications requiring reliable power management and thermal performance.
With a maximum repetitive reverse voltage (Vrrm) of 40V and an average forward current (If(AV)) of 3A, this rectifier ensures robust operation. It boasts a maximum forward voltage of 525mV and can handle a non-repetitive forward surge current (IFSM) of 80A at tp 10ms. The device also features an avalanche capability and a maximum operating junction temperature of 150°C.
Measuring 43 mm in height, 33 mm in width, and 15 mm in depth, with a lightweight design of just 1.12 grams, it is well-suited for compact circuit layouts. It utilises a through-hole mounting configuration with 2 pins for secure and straightforward installation.
