Housed in a flame-retardant UL94V-0 epoxy resin coating, it offers excellent safety and durability. This varistor maintains its full performance rating without derating in ambient temperatures up to 85°C, ensuring stable operation in demanding environments.
It features a round varistor element and is backed by a comprehensive suite of international approvals, including UL, CSA, VDE, CQC, and IEC, making it suitable for global markets and regulated industries. The component is engineered for endurance, capable of operating for 1000 hours at 85°C under specified test conditions.
With a nominal AC voltage rating of 250V and a DC rating of 320V, it effectively clamps transient voltages, with a maximum clamping voltage (Vc) of 650V. It can handle significant surge currents, with a peak rating of 2.5kA for an 8/20µs waveform, and absorbs energy pulses up to 38 joules (10/1000µs). Its compact disc form factor measures 10mm in diameter.
