The TE Connectivity VCS-04 Vertical Float Switch is a compact and highly reliable sensor designed for accurate liquid level detection. Constructed with a durable polypropylene body and a black glass-filled polypropylene housing and float, it is built to withstand demanding environments. Its operation is based on a dependable reed switch mechanism with a ruthenium contact, offering consistent form-A SPST (Single Pole, Single Throw) switching.

This versatile sensor in the VCS series allows for flexible top or bottom entry mounting, making it easy to integrate into various systems. It provides both high and low-level sensing capabilities, and its switching mode can be easily configured as either normally open (N/O) or normally closed (N/C) simply by reversing the float's orientation. This adaptability ensures it can trigger alarms or control pumps based on rising or falling liquid levels.
