High-speed CMOS octal D-type flip-flop with 3-state outputs, 15ns delay, 60MHz, 7.8mA, DIP-20 package.
The CD74HC574E is a high-speed octal D-type flip-flop with 3-state outputs and bus-driving capability, designed to replace LSTTL logic ICs while offering significant power reduction. Manufactured by Texas Instruments, this positive-edge-triggered device features eight flip-flops that capture data on the low-to-high transition of the clock (CP). The outputs are controlled by an active-low output enable (OE), which when high, places the outputs in a high-impedance state, allowing multiple devices to share a common bus.
With a propagation delay of 15ns and a maximum clock frequency of 60MHz, the IC delivers balanced propagation delays and transition times for reliable high-speed operation. It offers high noise immunity and is fully compatible with both LSTTL and CMOS input logic levels, making it versatile for mixed-technology designs. The device can drive up to 15 LSTTL loads on the bus driver outputs and 10 LSTTL loads on standard outputs, ensuring robust performance in demanding applications.
