The Texas Instruments SN74HCT04N is a high-speed CMOS logic IC configured as a hex inverter. It contains six independent inverter circuits within a single 14-pin dual in-line package (DIP). Each circuit performs the standard Boolean inversion function (Y = A̅) in positive logic, making it a fundamental building block for digital circuit design.
This device is engineered for reliable operation within a 4.5V to 5.5V supply voltage range, making it ideal for 5V TTL-compatible systems.
