The TEXAS INSTRUMENTS MAX3232CDR is a high-performance, multichannel RS-232 line driver and receiver integrated circuit, designed to facilitate reliable serial communication. The integrated dual charge-pump circuit, requiring only four small 0.1µF external capacitors, generates the necessary RS-232 voltage levels, simplifying board design and reducing component count.
