High-precision 3V dual-output voltage reference with low drift and power. Ideal for ADC biasing.
The Texas Instruments REF2030 is a high-precision, dual-output, low-power voltage reference designed for single-supply systems. It provides a stable reference voltage (VREF) for analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) and a second highly accurate bias voltage (VBIAS) to offset input bipolar signals, ensuring accurate signal conversion and measurement.
This voltage reference delivers excellent temperature stability with a maximum drift of 8ppm/°C and an initial accuracy of 0.05% on both outputs. The VREF and VBIAS outputs track each other to within 6ppm/°C over the operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C, ensuring consistent performance across diverse environments. Its extremely low dropout voltage of only 10mV allows operation from very low input voltages, making it ideal for battery-powered applications.
With a high output current capability of ±20mA and a low quiescent current of 360µA, the REF2030 is efficient and reliable. It offers excellent line and load regulation (3ppm/V and 8ppm/mA, respectively), maintaining stable output. The device is surface-mounted in a compact SOT-23-5 package, is a green product free from antimony and bromine, and is suitable for a wide range of applications including signal processing, instrumentation, automation, medical, and power management.
