Texas Instruments TLV70033DDCR LDO Regulator, 3.3V, 200mA, TSOT-5

The Texas Instruments TLV70033DDCR is a fixed 3.3V output low-dropout (LDO) linear regulator, engineered for power-sensitive applications. It delivers excellent line and load transient performance, ensuring a stable and reliable power supply for your circuitry.

A precision band gap and error amplifier provide an overall accuracy of 2%. The device features low output noise and a high power-supply rejection ratio (PSRR) of 68dB at 1kHz, making it ideal for battery-operated handheld equipment. With a typical dropout voltage of just 175mV, it maximises efficiency even with low input voltages.

Safety is ensured with built-in thermal shutdown and current limit protection. The device is stable with an effective output capacitance of only 0.1µF, allowing the use of capacitors with higher bias voltages and temperature derating. It maintains specified accuracy even with no output load.

Key parameters include a wide input voltage range from 2V to 5.5V, a maximum output current of 200mA, and a low quiescent current of just 31µA. The TLV70033DDCR is a green product, free from antimony (Sb) and bromine (Br). It operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and comes in a compact surface-mount TSOT-5 package.
