Engineered for data rates up to 6Gbps, this device features an exceptionally low differential capacitance of less than 0.05pF. This minimises signal distortion and ensures signal integrity is maintained for high-speed communications. Each channel also provides a low capacitance of 0.7pF, making it ideal for protecting modern, high-bandwidth interfaces.
Beyond standard ESD protection, the TPD2E009 offers robust transient voltage suppression (TVS), with protection up to a 5-A peak pulse-current rating per the IEC 61000-4-5 lightning specification. This provides an additional layer of defence against more powerful electrical surges. The flow-through pin mapping (NFLO to NFLR) simplifies printed circuit board (PCB) layout by allowing signal traces to pass straight through the device, reducing design complexity.
Housed in a compact SOT-23 package with a copper, nickel, palladium, and gold (Cu NIPDAU) lead ball finish, this solution is both space-efficient and reliable. It operates across a wide temperature range from -40 to 85°C, ensuring stable performance in demanding environments.
