Timco Nail Plate - Austenitic Stainless Steel (A2-304) 85 x 178
Versatile Timco nail plate for timber connections. Galvanised steel with strengthening ribs and countersunk holes for flush, secure finishes.
The Timco Nail Plate is a durable and versatile perforated plate engineered for robust timber-to-timber connections. It provides crucial structural reinforcement for new builds, repairs, and joint reinforcements in a variety of woodworking and construction applications. Manufactured from high-quality carbon steel, each plate is hot-dip galvanised to deliver a superior, long-lasting level of corrosion resistance, making it suitable for both interior and exterior projects where weather exposure is a concern.
A key design feature is the integrated strengthening ribs, which significantly increase the plate's rigidity and load-bearing capacity. This ensures a stable and secure connection that can withstand structural stresses over time. Every nail hole is precisely pressed and countersunk, which greatly aids in the accurate location of nails and, once driven, provides a clean, flush finish that is both safe and aesthetically pleasing.
Installation & Use
- Easy Installation: The countersunk holes act as a guide, helping to position nails or screws correctly and preventing splitting of the timber.
- Secure Joining: Ideal for repairing cracked or broken timber members, reinforcing new butt joints, and adding structural integrity to wooden frames.
- Universal Application: Perfect for use in roofing, fencing, timber framing, furniture repair, and general DIY carpentry projects.
This highly functional connector is a reliable and cost-effective solution for any task requiring a strong, permanent bond between wooden components. Its robust construction and thoughtful design make it an essential item for both professional tradespeople and serious DIY enthusiasts seeking professional-grade results.
