The Timeguard 24 Hour Fused Spur Timer Switch delivers professional and reliable time-based control for a wide range of electrical appliances. Featuring a clear digital clock and timer display, it is easy to set and view, even from a distance. This unit is designed to switch lighting loads up to 750W for incandescent or halogen, 500W for fluorescent, 100W for compact fluorescent (CFLs), and 200W for LED lighting, making it highly versatile for residential and commercial lighting control. It is also suitable for use with immersion heaters up to 3kW, though it is not suitable for discharge lighting.

Programming is both flexible and intuitive, with the ability to set up to four separate ON and OFF events within a 24-hour period. The shortest switching interval is just one minute, allowing for precise control. An optional one or two-hour boost facility provides instant, temporary override of the set programme, which is ideal for unexpected usage. This boost feature is self-cancelling, ensuring the system automatically returns to its programmed schedule.

For ease of use and safety, the switch includes clear visual indicators: a red LED shows mains power is present, and a green LED confirms the output is active. Control is simplified with a double-pole switch and a front-accessible, user-replaceable BS1362 fuse.
