This capacitor is constructed as a polarised aluminium electrolytic type with a non-solid electrolyte. It comes in a cylindrical aluminium case with an integrated pressure relief vent and is insulated with a distinctive blue sleeve. Its radial leaded design facilitates straightforward PCB mounting.
