The VISHAY BFC233610104 is a radial plotted fixed interference suppression film capacitor, designed with a polypropylene film dielectric and metallised film electrodes. This MKP3361 X1 series capacitor features tinned wire leads and a mono construction, offering low losses, high efficiency, and a long operational life. It is engineered to assist energy conversion while ensuring safety for pulses up to 4kV, making it a reliable component for various applications.
The capacitor is built with two electrodes (the capacitor plates) and a plastic dielectric material in between. In metallised film types, a very thin electrode layer, approximately 10 to 50nm thick, is evaporated onto the plastic dielectric, while discrete metal foils in film capacitors range from 5 to 10μm. The capacitor cells are protected to withstand severe environmental conditions and passive flammability, thanks to a UL94V-0 flame-retardant epoxy resin sealed plastic case encapsulation.
This capacitor is rated at 275VAC at 50 to 60Hz, with a capacitance of 0.1µF and a capacitance tolerance of ±20%. It features a suppression class X1, a dv/dt rating of 250V/µs, and a humidity rating of GRADE II (Test Condition A). The lead spacing is 15mm, and it operates within a temperature range of -55°C to 105°C. The product is part of the MKP3361 series and comes in a radial box package with 2 pins for through-hole mounting.
