The Vitax SBK Brushwood Killer is a selective weedkiller specifically formulated to target brambles, nettles, dock, woody weeds, hardwood saplings, and tree stumps, while sparing grass and other non-crop areas. Its active ingredient, Triclopyr, is highly effective against woody plants, making it ideal for brush control in rights of way and defoliation of wooded areas. It also combats broadleaf weeds, including Creeping Charlie.
Optimal Application:
- Best Time to Use: Apply from May to October (June to August for woody weeds) when weeds are actively growing and the soil is moist. Avoid April, May, and June for tree stumps, as the rising sap can reduce effectiveness. For stumps, Autumn or Winter is ideal.
- Replanting: Wait at least six weeks after application before replanting.
- Safety Note: This product is an irritant—take necessary precautions during use.
