Dormer Solid Carbide Ball Rotary Burr, 16mm x 6mm
High-performance Dormer carbide rotary burr with ball nose for efficient metal removal and precision grinding.
The Dormer P807 Solid Carbide Bright Rotary Burr features a ball nose geometry designed for skip flute grinding, offering increased strength at the centre. This design reduces swarf congestion and improves cutting efficiency closer to the centre. The burr produces double cuts, making it an excellent first choice for general machining tasks.
With improved ease of control and a higher metal removal rate, this rotary burr breaks swarf into manageable pieces. It features toughened and hardened steel shanks for rigidity and strength, preventing bending and minimising vibrations to enhance tool life. The burr is ground to h6 (Carbide) and h7 (Steel) standards, ensuring precision and durability.
Boasting exceptional impact strength, this burr can withstand high forces and elevated temperatures without failure. Special brazing elements further enhance braze strength, ensuring consistent performance in demanding applications.
