Dormer Solid Carbide Bright Rotary Burr Ball, 12.7 x 6mm
Dormer's high-performance carbide rotary burr (12.7mm) with hardened shank for precision grinding & metal removal.
The Dormer Solid Carbide Bright Rotary Burr Ball is engineered for precision skip flute grinding with enhanced strength at the tool's centre. Its ball nose geometry reduces swarf congestion while improving cutting action close to the centre, making it an excellent choice for general machining applications.
This rotary burr produces double cuts, ensuring efficient material removal and breaking swarf into more manageable pieces. It offers improved control and a higher metal removal rate, making it ideal for a range of tasks.
Featuring a toughened and hardened steel shank, the burr provides exceptional rigidity and strength, minimising bending and vibration to extend tool life. Ground to h6 (Carbide) and h7 (Steel) tolerances, it delivers outstanding impact strength and high-temperature resistance.
Key Features:
- Ball nose geometry for optimised grinding performance
- Hardened steel shank for increased rigidity
- Reduced swarf clogging with skip flute design
- High-temperature resilience and impact resistance
