Dormer Solid Carbide Rotary Bright Burr, Oval, 16mm x 6mm
Dormer P809 solid carbide rotary burr (16mm x 6mm) for precision machining, skip flute grinding, and high metal removal.
The Dormer P809 Solid Carbide Bright Rotary Burr features an oval ball nose geometry designed for skip flute grinding, providing increased strength at the centre. Its unique design reduces the risk of swarf congestion and enhances the cutting action closer to the centre, making it ideal for general machining applications.
This burr produces double cuts, ensuring efficient material removal with better control and a higher metal removal rate. The toughened and hardened steel shank offers exceptional rigidity and strength, reducing vibrations and preventing bending for an improved tool life.
Ground to h6 (Carbide) and h7 (Steel) tolerances, it ensures precision and durability. The carbide material provides excellent impact strength, allowing it to withstand high forces and elevated temperatures without failing. Special brazing elements contribute to superior braze strength, ensuring long-lasting performance.
