ForgeFast Exterior Elite 2000 Wood Screws 4x70mm (Box of 170)
High-performance exterior wood screws with Elementech 2000 coating for superior corrosion resistance. Ideal for coastal and outdoor applications.
The ForgeFast Exterior Elite 2000 Pozi Compatible Wood Screw is engineered for superior performance in exterior applications, offering exceptional corrosion resistance and durability. Featuring the Elementech 2000 Coating System, these screws have been tested for 2,000 hours in salt spray conditions, simulating harsh coastal environments. This ensures reliable performance in all weather conditions, making them ideal for both commercial and residential projects.
- Advanced Thread Technology: The innovative design facilitates faster and easier installation, eliminating the need for pre-drilling. The double cutting point minimises splitting and reduces drive time, while the serrated cutting thread ensures a firmer fix with lower torque and improved pull-out resistance.
- Anti-Friction Thread: This feature prevents 'jacking' and rotation of adjoining timbers, further reducing the risk of splitting.
- Enhanced Holding Power: Reinforced countersunk neck and six angled lobes provide improved countersinking and a secure fit.
Ideal for exterior use in treated and untreated wood, these screws are CE-approved for load-bearing timber construction. The environmentally friendly Non-Cr, Cr3+ zinc coating offers up to 30 times longer protection compared to standard zinc coatings.
