ForgeFix High Tensile Set Screw M6 x 25mm, Zinc Plated, Bag of 10
High-tensile M6 x 25mm set screws, zinc-plated for corrosion resistance. DIN 933 compliant, bag of 10.
The ForgeFix High Tensile Set Screw M6 x 25mm is designed for robustness and durability, making it an ideal choice for engineering applications. Constructed from grade 8.8 steel, these set screws are fully threaded for maximum grip and strength, ensuring a secure fastening solution.
Zinc plating enhances the screws' resistance to corrosion, prolonging their lifespan. Zinc plating acts as both a protective barrier and a sacrificial anode to prevent oxidation of the base metal. The resulting zinc oxide forms a fine white dust, maintaining surface integrity without causing degradation—similar to stainless steel and aluminium oxide layers.
These screws conform to DIN 933 standards, guaranteeing compatibility with a variety of nuts and washers, offering flexibility in application. Suitable for pre-tapped holes and general fastening in multiple material types, they provide reliable performance in industrial, mechanical, and construction settings.
