ForgeFix High Tensile Set Screw ZP M8 x 70mm, Pack of 10
Durable grade 8.8 steel set screws with zinc plating for corrosion resistance. Ideal for engineering applications. DIN 933 compliant.
The ForgeFix High Tensile Set Screws in M8 x 70mm size come in a convenient pack of 10. Made from grade 8.8 steel, these screws offer superior strength and durability. The zinc plating enhances corrosion resistance, ensuring longevity even in demanding environments.
These screws are fully threaded and comply with DIN 933 standards, making them compatible with various nuts and washers. Ideal for engineering applications, they provide a reliable fastening solution for numerous materials and pre-tapped holes.
Zinc plating offers excellent protection by forming a barrier against oxidation. Additionally, it acts as a sacrificial anode if the barrier is compromised. The resulting zinc oxide is non-reactive and maintains the integrity of the screw, similar to the protective layers found on aluminium and stainless steel.
