ForgeFix TechFast Roofing Screws 4.8x38mm, Steel to Timber, Pack of 100
Strong, corrosion-resistant roofing screws for timber-to-steel fixing. Self-drilling with Torx head. Pack of 100.
The ForgeFix TechFast Roofing Screws are engineered for optimal performance in joining timber to steel, particularly suited for light section purlins. Featuring a Torx-compatible countersunk head, these screws sit flush to the surface, ensuring a neat and secure finish.
Key Features
- Self-Drilling Point: Enables fast and efficient insertion without pre-drilling.
- Winged Design: Creates a clearance hole in the timber to prevent 'jacking' during fixing.
- Enhanced Corrosion Resistance: Zinc-plated with 'Elementech' coating, tested to withstand 1,000 hours of salt spray.
- Torx Bit Included: Each pack comes with a free Torx-compatible bit for easy installation.
These screws are designed for steel thicknesses of 1.5mm to 4mm, making them ideal for roofing applications where a robust and long-lasting connection is required. The 4.8mm x 38mm size provides a strong hold, while the pack of 100 ensures you have enough screws for your project.
