The Q.Max Sheet Metal Punch (40mm) is designed for quick and clean cutting of metric-sized holes in sheet metal up to 16 gauge. Its special design ensures even load distribution during cutting, resulting in a burr-free hole that requires no additional finishing—saving you time and effort.
Featuring heat-treated cutting edges and a black anti-corrosive surface finish, this punch is built to resist rust and maintain sharpness over prolonged use. Note that all punches are sold individually, and a hexagonal key must be purchased separately for operation.
How It Works:
- Thread the punch onto the hexagonal screw and pass the screw through the workpiece.
- Position the die on top of the die nut.
- Screw the die nut onto the hexagonal screw until it contacts the metal sheet.
- Use a 10mm hexagonal key to turn the screw, pulling the punch through the metal to create a precise hole.
Note: For punches 15mm and larger, the configuration differs—they have fewer components, as the thread is integrated into the punch, eliminating the need for a separate die nut.
