Q.Max Sheet Metal Punch, 40mm, for 16 Gauge Metal

The Q.Max Sheet Metal Punch (40mm) is designed for quick and clean cutting of metric-sized holes in sheet metal up to 16 gauge. Its special design ensures even load distribution during cutting, resulting in a burr-free hole that requires no additional finishing—saving you time and effort.

Featuring heat-treated cutting edges and a black anti-corrosive surface finish, this punch is built to resist rust and maintain sharpness over prolonged use. Note that all punches are sold individually, and a hexagonal key must be purchased separately for operation.

How It Works:

1. Thread the punch onto the hexagonal screw and pass the screw through the workpiece.
2. Position the die on top of the die nut.
3. Screw the die nut onto the hexagonal screw until it contacts the metal sheet.
4. Use a 10mm hexagonal key to turn the screw, pulling the punch through the metal to create a precise hole.

• Note:* For punches 15mm and larger, the configuration differs—they have fewer components, as the thread is integrated into the punch, eliminating the need for a separate die nut.
