Q.Max Sheet Metal Punch, 48mm, for 16 Gauge Metal

The Q.Max Sheet Metal Punch provides a quick and easy solution for cutting clean, metric-sized holes in sheet metal up to 16 gauge. Its special design ensures even load distribution during cutting, resulting in a burr-free hole that requires no additional finishing.

Each punch features heat-treated cutting edges for superior durability and a black anti-corrosive surface finish to prevent rust. These punches are sold singly and do not include a key, which must be ordered separately.

Usage Instructions:

1. Thread the punch onto the hexagonal screw.
2. Pass the hexagonal screw through the pre-drilled hole in the sheet metal.
3. Position the die on top of the die nut.
4. Screw the die nut onto the hexagonal screw until it touches the metal sheet.
5. Use a 10mm hexagonal wrench (MC type) to turn the screw, pulling the punch through the metal and creating a clean, precise hole.

Note: For punch sizes 15mm and above, the configuration differs—these have fewer components, with the thread being integrated directly into the punch, eliminating the need for a die nut.
