Timco Metal Construction Screws, 5.5x85mm, Zinc, Self-Drilling, 100 Pieces
Timco's self-drilling screws for wood-to-steel fixing, 5.5x85mm, zinc-coated, pack of 100.
The Timco Metal Construction Timber to Heavy Section Screws are expertly engineered for attaching wood to heavy section steel with a maximum thickness of 12mm. These countersunk screws feature a unique wing-tip design that reams out timber, ensuring maximum RPM without the risk of burning out. When the wings hit the metal, they break off to allow the thread to self-tap into the metal, creating a strong and secure hold.
